navy and white, summer fashion, summer dress, office style, avalon tote, style wheel

While vacationing in Padre last month, I found this dress by Entro at my favorite store on the island called Rica. Loved it as soon as I saw it on the mannequin, and although I added the belt, I think there is something about dresses with looser shapes and cuts that are so unexpected and cool. Clothes don’t have to be super tight and binding to look feminine. Plus, wanna hear something funny? While researching this line on the internet, I discovered this dress is actually a top. No kidding. It was shown on their website with skinny jeans–which I will love to wear come Fall!–stay tuned!

If I went to work in an office every day, I think this would be a perfect choice to wear. It’s sophisticated and an appropriate length. Seeing as that my office is about 10 steps from my bedroom, I’ll be wearing this to lunch with friends, church, meetings etc…

I’ve paired the new Stella and Dot Elements necklace and matching stud to add that extra bit of Navy. And did you notice the ear jackets!!?? Ear jackets are a such a fun trend to embrace this Summer and Fall, and Stella and Dot has 4 different pairs (so far) from which to choose!

The Avalon tote–which is now also available in black!!!–complements my nude caged heels perfectly! With work clothes like this…I kind of wish I could go to an office and show it off!
