In the mean time, I am linking up with my friend Erika to bring you my five favorites from the week.

Perkins Family Christmas
Do you remember last year when I hosted a family Christmas party and hired a food truck come to feed us all? You can read about it here.
Last weekend we traveled to my brother’s house in Austin to celebrate Christmas with our family again. Unfortunately I hadn’t seen many of these cousins since last year at my house and it was so good to see everyone. After our Christmas party, we headed to a local park to watch my niece Larkin in a dance performance. It was a fun little Christmas festival and the boys were exhausted when we finally headed back home late Saturday night.
Random Christmas Movies
James was home sick two days this week, so I spent a lot more time in front of the TV than I normally do. I wrapped presents and worked on my laptop and streamed several Christmas movies from Amazon that I had never seen before or even heard of.
They were adorable!!
Christmas Lodge is a movie based on a painting by Thomas Kincaid. It was easy to watch and very wholesome. The story is about a family who restores an old lodge they used to stay in every Christmas.
The Christmas Kiss was about a young interior designer who falls for her horrible boss’s boyfriend when she is assigned to decorate his family’s home for Christmas.
I cant wait for next week when the boys are out of school and I can discover a few more of these little gems.
Of course Kevin and Lyndsie are my most favorite from this week. Love you both and wish you a lifetime of everything beautiful!
