I’m linking up with my friend Erika to bring you my top 5 favorites from this week!
If you read my February Newsletter, you saw that my verse for the month is Joshua 1:9
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
This verse is so encouraging to me when I’m feeling nervous about being bold–which you have to be when you are in business for yourself. I have to constantly read verses like this and other uplifting quotes to keep myself from getting discouraged and with a positive mindset. Here are a couple more encouraging things for you:
Because it is so typically out of my comfort zone, I absolutely love the photos we shot of the tulle skirt from Wednesday. I know, it isn’t for everyone, but if you are needing a bit of whimsy in your wardrobe, I cannot tell you how much fun these skirts are to prance around in. And yes, you will want to prance a bit.
You can see the entire line of tulle skirts by visiting the Space 46 website, here.
Soups from Trader Joe’s
Although yes, I cook dinner most nights during the week, there are definite days when I do not feel like making anything from scratch and these soups from Trader Joe’s are fantastic! Heat up over the stove and add a simple garnish and a panini made in my favorite Griddler for a DELICIOUS and quick meal.
Favorite garnish for Latin Style Black Bean: sliced avocado or add leftover fajita meat and vegetables.
Favorite garnish for Tomato Roasted Red Pepper: Grilled Cheese Croutons (just a grilled cheese cut into small 2″ squares.
Favorite garnish for Ginger Carrot: Chopped chives and a dollup of plain Greek yogurt.
Events with James and Caleb
Caleb has a double ear infection and James lost his first tooth–it was loose for over 2 months!!! Not good for C, AWESOME for J but love that I get to be here for both.
Happy Friday everyone!
