The newest and final look of the February addition of The Style Wheel Big Deal brings a turtleneck sweater dress into the mix, as well as a blanket scarf–a 2 year old trend which I’m just now embracing thanks to a certain Christmas elf named Lyndsie-soon-to-be-Palmer. Same goes for the over the knee boots featured in this post–it’s my first pair.
Better late than never, right?
Winter dresses are often difficult to locate. When and if you find one that is warm, neutral and comfortable you may want to grab that right up and make it your own…like I did with this graphite sweater dress from Banana Republic.
Cable knit is such a preppy, timeless embellishment to knits. This dress will be relevant for years to come and keep me warm on the bitter cold days we truly do experience here in Texas. Surprised?
When Spring days actually make themselves known in the coming months and your trench coat can be stowed for a day, take advantage of the blanket scarf and use it as a wrap with your trench belt for an atypical covering over the sweater dress.
Trench coat for the win!
-ciao for now-
