Happy Wednesday friends and welcome to the What I Wore Wednesday linkup with The Pleated Poppy!
For our last look of the February Style Wheel Big Deal, I have opted to pair our chambray shirt with soft neutrals of cream and sand.
These cream skinny cords from Anthropologie are kind of my white jeans of the winter. During the Summer I live in white jeans, and even though the “no white jeans until Memorial Day” rule is no longer valid, I don’t like wearing them on the coldest, dreary-est days of Winter–they feel very out of place. Winter white cords, however, are a different story.
Pairing these with our chambray shirt and these absolutely wonderful Michele Negri suede boots complements of one Brian Palmer, created an everyday, wearable ensemble worthy of both Winter and Spring. (These boots were the product of a loooonnnggg Florentine afternoon drinking wine on the patio at Hotel Savoy. We walked by the window of Michele Negri on our way to somewhere, and thanks to the wine, Brian agreed to the purchase. #wahahaha #needinsuranceonthesebabies #grazievino)
Accessorizing with the Essential Fringe necklace in gold and our new bag silhouette, The Crosby Hobo, gives the simple combination of chambray and cream a bit of flare. This is my favorite part of Styling: turning a simple pairing into a dynamite look with the help of just a few Stella and Dot accessories. 🙂
