It looked easy and cute so I gave it a try…and THIS DIP WAS THE BIGGEST HIT at my Christmas Party last weekend! I hope you will make it for your next Christmas Party and bask in the glory of all the complements you are about to receive.
8 oz Cream Cheese, softened to room temp
8 oz Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 container Cool Whip
3/4 cup Chocolate Chips–I used dark chocolate*
1/2 Cup Candy Corn*
*reserve a few to sprinkle on top
1.) Using a KitchenAid Electric Mixer, combine first three ingredients and mix until well blended.
2.) Carefully add chocolate chips and then candy corn, and mix until incorporated.
3.) Cover with saran and store in fridge until ready to serve.
4.) Prior to serving, pour dip into a serving bowl and stick pretzels in so they are sticking out the top. Sprinkle reserved chocolates and candies on top. The dip should look like melted snowmen (chocolate chips are the eyes, candy corn is the nose and pretzels are the arms…just in case you didn’t get it.)
Serve with assorted cookies for dipping.
NOTE: The candy corn did end up “bleeding” on the white part of the dip, so I would not recommend you making this very far in advance. I made it the morning of my party and after only a few hours in the fridge it had bled.
