I was served this tea one Fall afternoon at a wedding shower, and enjoyed it so much, I called the bride and asked her to snag the recipe from the hostess. This drink can be served cold over ice with fruit garnish which is how it was served to me, however, I think it would be a delicious drink served hot and enjoyed with friends on one of these chilly Winter afternoons…like today.
3 TBSP instant tea with lemon
1 cup sugar
2 cups boiling water
2 (6) oz cans frozen concentrated lemonade
2 1/2 quarts cold (or hot) water
3 tsp almond extract
3 tsp vanilla
Dissolve tea and sugar in boiling water. Add other ingredients and mix well. Serve hot or cold.
